shock mount reversal

Since the comination of the new multi leaf springs and shakles outflexed the length of the stock shock, I flipped the mounts so they would curve up instead of down. In order to do this I had to make a notch on the old bottom and grind down the inner part of the shock mount so the shock could bolt in.

Looks pretty cool, have you flexed it out yet to see if it helped you any?

Happy trails!!

Havn't gotten a chance to flex out yet, not many places around here to do that, but I'm looking. I never got to flex it out before I did the mod so I don't know exactly how much more flex I'll get out of it.

That is a pretty good idea, but it is the front shock that has the big issue of bottoming out, I haven't talked to anyone that has bottomed out the back shock. But I like your idea.

Oh by the way, I don't recomend doing the above anymore, those plates have bent up a bit making the u-bolts kind of loosen up a bit. Everythings fine now, but even if it bends a litte bit more I'm not too worried because I got some new spring pearches and I'll be doing a spring over really soon.
