Hi

Cause ive never seen any DIY working report about shocks replacement (nor the whole strut asy) here is my job summary:

1.Safety first.work according to workshop manual safety demands.never work without jackstands supporting the car chassis

2.remove rear wheel

3.remove strut tower nuts, strut bolt, stabilizer link, control arm, knuckle upper and lower bolt and release adjustment rod after control arm supported by floor jack.

4.then take the whole strut asy out carefully (abs wires ahead)

5a.now support your old shock asy in order to remove rotation

5b.after coil spring compressed by universal coil spring tool ,use 17&8mm wrenches to release strut nut tension.dont try to release strut nut tension before coil spring freely rotated by hand.

"2.remove front wheel."

Sure about that? Seems easier if you took off the rear wheel.;)

Haha lol...
Sure the rear one!!

I'm sure that your step by step photos will help someone else feel more confident about doing the job. That is why this place is great, people helping people.
