Stock Sub Replacement

What size sub can you fit in the stock enclosure in the '91 Explorers? I have a Kicker 10 in a sealed box in the back right now and would love to be able to fit something in the stock location w/ a little trimming of the enclosure to clean it up some. Has anyone done this?

I did an 8" I remember someone putting in a 10" Thats what I want to do next.It was pain but well worth it.

The other thing I was wondering is if 7 L is enough volume for a 10? Anyone know the specs on the Kicker or others?
