What issues are you having? Pull both sides off and do one at a time so you can go over and check out the other side to make sure your installing right. Use a manual or Autozone website or in store has a "how to" print out. Mine were a pita cause I had a frozen lever that luckily the shop...

If I were you I would just stop by a parts store and pick up a haynes manual, all torque specs are listed in the beginning of each corrosponding chapter.

Well it passed DEQ (emissions) here in Oregon so that is good. Not sure if that would give any insight to the issue. Doing the tune up Saturday so I will update after that.

Found torque specs, looks like 120in lower and 60in upper. I will redue them....

Edit: after a bit of searching I just found out the intake bolts have torque specs.....and since I cant find my Haynes I did not torque to spec. Do I need to pull this apart and re-torque and are the gaskets still good, I did the best I could with how I felt the 20 upper/lower bolts came out...

Well just got the gaskets replaced, started it up and it sounded great but then the sputtering came back after a few minutes of idling and a quick drive around the block. Idling at about 6-700 rpms after drive. Another very odd thing is coolant starting leaking out of the rad cap when I pulled...

I couldnt find any exact how to on replacing the upper/lower intake gaskets on the 99 sport in this forum just for the OHV. Picking them up today and doing the job tomorrow. I somehow of course cannot find my haynes manual for the truck either.... Apologize if I am not supposed to post outside...

Ok thanks, I wasn't sure and I didn't have the right torx bit to remove the sensor it had some kind of stud on the middle of the torx bolt so skipped it. Will do that when I tune up.

Got the lbj done, im thinking that was the noise. Im not 100% sure since there is quite a few noises coming from the rig but its safe to drive now I believe. Wondering if anyone has any how to links, or advice on how to change the seal. So far alls I have found is a write up on doing a ford ranger and I have no idea if they are similar at all. My dads truck and he thinks the seal may be bad as it is leaking from that area. Thanks
