Dome light

First, i switched my rear drivers side door on my 92 with a dent free one from a 93 and now the dome light won't go off unless the ignition is off.

Tried unplugging the door and it made no difference.

...I'm confused, I take it the light does not stay on when you unplug it???

...Have you tried the wd40 on the rear drivers side door latch, and in the handle slits???

I unplugged the door and the light is still on plug it in and it stays on. Sorry if its kind of hard to understand, i'm tired and i took in WAY to many paint fumes over the weekend. I'll check out that link though.

EDIT: So you're saying to spray the spots under the door HANDLE? Honestly i don't get how that would fix the problem and i don't think i'm willing to try that for awhile.

...If that is the case, I would think the switch in the new door is bad...But try the fix, it might work.....
