- 97 explorer xlt 5.0 v-8
im new to this forum. i just picked up a 97 explorer its got the 5.0 and all wheel drive. its loaded with all the opts(moonroof and power everything) its clean with 62k on motor and 40k on tranny. im not all that familar with fords. i just sold my 93 bonneville ssei so i was part of that forum for along time. they were a great help to with any probem ive had and i hope this one is the same. although i just got this suv ive had it looked at and it seems in good shape(the motor,tranny). i just wanted to now if there is anything these suv are noted for anything to look out for. sorry for rambling on....thanks
