Disconnected the old battery and went shopping for a new one. Hour and a half later, installed new battery but it won't start.
  1. Checked both fuse boxes and no blown fuse(s).
  2. Checked inertia fuel button, okay.
  3. The PATS Sys, LED seems to be working correctly.
  4. Crank the engine, I hear the engine turning over but it won't start.
Any suggestions?

Prior to the battery swap, was the car jump started and if so any chance cables were reversed even for a second?

Any chance when new battery was installed that the wires were touched to the wrong terminals even for a second?

Not at all.
On the installation, I do remember tightening the negative terminal first and then the positive.

It’s not going to cause an issue but you should typically put the positive on first.

Does it turn over at the right speed? Have any starting fluid?
