Fan clutch removal

Ref. 1994 Ford Explorer Sport
I owned a Ranger so I'm not new to the fan clutch removal process/tools required but I'm having a heck of time breaking this one loose on this vehicle. Now per the manual I have PLUS the information molded in the fan guard the the threads are RH ie RIGHTY TIGHTY LEFTY TO LOOSY! Should I just keep banging away? Any assistance would be appreciated.

Welcome to this forum! Are you holding the pulley with another tool at the same time? Which tool set are you using?

fan clutch removal tool

I purchased the tool SET at Auto Zone about 7 years ago, it is a 2 piece open end set 1 fits over the bolt heads of the fan hub the other fits over the fan clutch nut
