Would anyone be good enough to "school" this old guy more on how to get & use Forscan to manipulate non-working keys? History: DTCs pointed to bad PCM, bought a rebuild, came with two keys. Installed PCM, started engine fine with one key, other did not work. Failed to follow written instructions, I know.
Put ORIGINAL PCM back, OEM from the Ex, started fine, assumed other key must work just like always before, IT DID NOT! Now, I have 2 working PCMs and only one key which works with each. Why did my original PCM which came with the car, and it's 2 keys which worked fine before it's removal, NOT allow both keys to work after being reinstalled?? imp
